Restrictive Physical Intervention and Restraint

Cornwall Council’s policy is that we do not restrain children and young people living in foster homes.

All foster carers are trained in de-escalation techniques.

Every child and young person has a Safer Caring Plan tailored to suit their individual needs including how to manage their behaviour.
